Inspirational Story : Life is a Choice

This is a story experienced by a family of birds. The mother incubate some eggs into small birds beautiful and healthy. The mother was very happy and treat them all with great affection. Day by day, month turned into months, these little birds began to move swiftly. They begin to learn mengepakan wings and looking for food and then bite him.
Of some of these chicks saw a small bird that is different from the other brother. He seemed quiet and agile as his brothers. When the brothers learned to fly, he chose silence in the nest rather than tired and fell. When his brothers chasing foraging, he chose silence and waiting for his mercy. Thus it happened so.
When the mother began to be old and no longer able to struggle to feed their children, the young birds began to feel sad. Often times, he saw from the bottom of his brothers flying high in the sky. When the brothers moved swiftly from one branch to another branch in a tall tree, he must be satisfied with being in the lower limb. He also felt very sad.
In his grief, he met an elderly mother and said, "I feel very sad Ibul. Why I can not fly as high as the other brothers? Why I can not jump around in the high branches? I can only dwell in the lower limb. "
The mother was feeling sad and with tears he said, "Son, you were born with wings perfect as your brother, but you chose to crawl through life thus become stunted wings."

To Ponder : Life is a choice. Whatever choice we make, that choice will lead us into the future, both grim and glorious. God gave us the will to choose. Furthermore, the choice is what distinguishes us from the others. Every choice has consequences. The law of cause and effect. Why not choose the best?
